Peony was so friendly, helpful and efficient and we were grateful for her English speaking ability. Our arrival was delayed by several hours and the taxi was unable to drop us right outside hotel - the traffic was nuts- Peony appeared out of nowhere and grabbed both our suitcases , wheeled them with is tottering behind, through a million motor bikes and cars back to the hotel. Impressive!

This small boutique hotel is in the old quarter, central to everything, a short walk to the lake. The staff at The Oriental Central are EXCEPTIONAL, if you value customer service you will love this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, they provide excellent local advice, reconfirm transfers, arrange taxis and do it wll with enormous pride and care. We highly recommend The Oriental Central Hotel to any traveller - the only down side is there is no pool at this hotel, which was not a concern to us. FIVE *****
